Terrell Owens Gets Outjumped

T.O. is used to being celebrated for his athleticism, but he got a rude awakening at Rucker Park.
While the columnists at The Dagger (a Yahoo! Sports Blog) suggest that T.O. got dunked on – at least in the tittle – I’ll just say that Owens may need to chill out on the celebrity basketball circuit.
Or maybe he should just take a closer look at the rosters before he decides to participate. If the rosters are littered with names like Michael Rappaport, Mark Cuban and Chris Tucker, by all means…he can do his thing.
But I would advise him to stay away from unknown dudes ballin’ at Rucker Park. Or at least get out of the way a little bit quicker.
Anyone who’s not Vince Carter or Dwight Howard has probably experienced this moment before – the moment that you are suspended in the air after believing that you could deflect a pass. Or maybe you just felt that you could get up high enough to block, or at least contest an opponents drive to the hoop.
But then you realize that leaving the floor was a bad choice, and you can’t get out of the play fast enough to avoid embarrassment.
Well, at least that’s what my boy Tony tells me it is like…
