The sealing of Plaxico Burress’ fate is complete.  He has agreed to a plea bargain which will give him a 2-year prison sentence.  That’s right – 2 years for accidentally shooting himself in the thigh.  And he could have received up to 3 and 1/2 years in the slammer.

Well, obviously there was some legislation that Plax broke, but in the end game it is what it is.  So, his agreed upon sentence ends up being about the same amount of time as – gasp – Michael Vick’s jail term for funding a dogfighting operation.

Accidentally shooting yourself in the thigh gets you the same amount of time as killing eight dogs (by admission, probably more) and running a dogfighting operation.  So, now we know.
