Jordan Crawford Throws Up 55

As of late, Crawford has been doing more than just dunking in pickup games.
He wears jersey number 55 for the Xavier. He poured in that exact number of points while leading the Musketeers to two victories in the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament.
If Jordan Crawford isn’t careful, he might end up being known for more than dunking on LeBron James in a pickup game. And fortunately for us, no one has attempted to confiscate the tapes of his brilliance in the Big Dance thus far.
Crawford has been an efficient scorer thus far in the Big Dance.
In the first round against Minnesota, Crawford burned the nets for 28 points including 5 triples. The 6’4″ junior put up 17 points after intermission. He was the sole Musketeer to score in double figures and added a game-high 5 assists in the 65-54 Xavier win.
Crawford followed that performance with another stellar one in a battle with the Pittsburgh Panthers. Working against defensive stalwart Brad Wanamaker, Crawford put together a more efficient game than he did in the first round. Crawford ended the contest 9-15, 4-7 from three, for a total of 27 points.
What’s next for Crawford?
Xavier goes up against Kansas State on Thursday. The Wildcats have a team that likes to push the ball, which should produce more possessions.
Who knows? Jordan might just throw up 55.
