Who is LeBron James’ Daddy?

What's the latest rumor involving LeBron and Gloria?

LeBron is about to make one of the biggest decisions of his life, on a bigger stage than has ever been seen for this type of announcement.  But on the day of his decision, someone is trying to steal his thunder…

Someone claiming to be…his dad?

Now, as if the Delonte West-Gloria James situation wasn’t bad enough, here comes a gentlemen by the name of Leicester Bryce Stovell.  Stovell has filed a lawsuit against the star athlete and his mother – saying that they were trying to conceal the fact that he is LeBron’s daddy.

Was Stovell a nail-biter, too?

Poor LeBron.  We’ll – he’s far from poor…but you have to feel for the dude.  The circulation and timing of this rumor seems to be no coincidence.  But then again, if the James’ are leaving him out in the cold – what should we think of them?

And it’s not like he would be a deadbeat dad…check out the guy’s credentials: he graduated from Princeton, has a law degree and was a Senior Legal Advisor for the SEC (no, not the Southeastern Conference, but the Securities and Exchange Commission).  So, it’s not like he wouldn’t have been a good role model for James.

But, on the other hand, Stovell is suing for $4 million – on the grounds of fraud, misrepresentation and defamation of character.  And Stovell – who claims that the two had consensual sex back in 1984 – was 29 years of age at the time.  Gloria James would have been 15.  And with LeBron orchestrating a circus around his free agency, there’s only one question left to be asked:

How will King James respond?
