Reports have surfaced which give more clarification to the ‘Gilbert Arenas-stashing-guns’ incident. 

The reports indicate that the three-time All Star guard was involved in an incidentwith (injured) seldom used Wizards’ guard Jarvis Crittenton.  The locker room altercation included the drawing of guns at one another during an argument over a gambling debt.

What could cause two teammates to draw guns on each other?

- Maybe the two got into an argument about how good (or not) Arenas is.  With the Wizards currently sitting at 10-20 (last place in the Southeast Division), I could see Gilbert saying “I’m good enough to get us into the playoffs.”  Perhaps Crittenton was not a believer – one thing led to another – egos got in the way and guns were drawn.

Did Jarvis step to one of Gilbert's honeys? I guess we'll never know...

- Could they be trying to find a way to conjure up their own one-way tickets out of the nation’s capital?  Gun toters’ tenures usually don’t have longevity in any industry, including the NBA.  By committing this altercation, they are putting the pressure on the Wizards’ organiztion to move them elsewhere – - or at least that’s what they’re hoping. 

- Maybe Arenas and Crittenton didn’t get to fully execute their plan as pacticed.  Maybe they were so disgusted with the state of the Wizards that they wanted to end it all.

- Could it be that they were discovered before they could stockpile all of the necessary weaponry to blow up the Verizon Center and put an end to the misery that all Washington Wizards fans have been forced to subject themselves to?

- Did we really think it all would work with Flip Saunders at the helm this season?

So many questions and unfortunately these are the extent of interesting stories that Chocolate City’s team will seemingly ever be able to produce.
