There’s really nothing much else you can say about this. Even George Karl was at a loss for words – particular when it came to the subject of how well his team played defensively.
I felt that the Nuggets would take this game, but to even dream about a butt-whoopin’ of this magnitude would have been too much. The Nuggets obviously aren’t this good – and we’d be in for a good battle assuming that they and the Mavericks are able to close out their series.
Byron Scott will have much to address prior to Game 5. But at some point in the second half it was painful to see the Hornets just give up. Even though the Nuggets had the game in the bag, the Hornets can’t just give up and lose by 58 points in their own building. They have fans who have come out to support them…AND THIS IS THE DOGGONE PLAYOFFS.

Byron Scott needs to make sure that his team doesn't lose by 58 points again.
Also, I saw the funniest thing on SportsCenter. They were talking about the game – Tim Legler, Stuart Scott and another one of the hosts (maybe Karl Ravech) – and in the backdrop there was this screen that had the mascot along with the city name of each of the two teams. Except they messed up and you could see “Charlotte” as clear as a bell on the screen.
I wonder who’s going to get in trouble for that one…did anybody else see it?
I guessing that New Orleans (that’s right – the whole city) may have called in to SportsCenter before it aired and told them that they didn’t want to claim the Hornets after that sad display.
