I don’t keep tabs on R&B artists like I used to…but I have heard of Keri Hilson.  And I also know that you would never see a well-known artist totally butcher the national anthem like this.  So, I’m guessing that this couldn’t be a good thing for her. 

The site of the butchering was Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA – prior to the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks.  Based on that fact alone, I’m sure that there were a lot of soulful singers who could have jumped out of the stands and done a better job.

Well, I think they could have, at the very least, gotten the words right.
