Kornheiser Suspended From PTI

You won't see Tony Kornheiser on this set for the next 2 weeks.
“Pardon the interruption Tony, but you’ve been suspended for two weeks.”
That’s what ESPN told the popular sports personality on Monday after he made the following comments about fellow EPSN analyst (and SportsCenter anchor) Hannah Storm on his Pardon the Interruption show:
Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She’s got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt … way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now…She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body … I know she’s very good, and I’m not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won’t … but Hannah Storm … come on now! Stop! What are you doing? … She’s what I would call a Holden Caulfield fantasy at this point.”

Is this was a "sausage casing" looks like?
What was Tony doing? The “sausage casing wrapping” part is definitely what did him in. That totally sounded like something that he wanted to get off of his chest ever since the very first time he saw Storm in fitted clothing. After he had time to come back to his senses, he offered this acknowledgement of wrongdoing:
“I apologize unequivocally. … I was wrong. This is sort of what I do, and I’m sorry for it. … Not the first time and won’t be the last time but I apologize for it this time.”
It seems like Kornheiser is from the Tiger Woods’ school of not understanding how to deliver a sincere, heartfelt apology.
And, the bittersweet truth to all of this is that it is exactly what he does. All day, every day. Kornheiser is indeed noted for his rambling, unforgiving style of humor about athletes or sports. But ESPN decided to draw the line when it came to comments made about its own employees. Looking at the much bigger picture, you’d have to agree with them. I couldn’t imagine coming to work everyday after one of my peers broadcasted (on national television) his dissatisfaction with my nappy hair.
Anyway, ESPN has given Kornheiser his boundaries. Let’s see how long it takes for him to stretch them once again.

She probably blew him off when she was in her 30s and now he's bitter about it. So SC no longer stands for Sportcenter huh?
