Andrew Bogut had a monster game against the Boston Celtics.

Well…physically, he’s about as far from a baby as one can get. And it’s definitely not often that you see a 6′9″, 290 lb. (I don’t believe it, but it’s what he’s listed as) man get knocked to the floor on his backside.

But that’s exactly what happened last night when the Boston Celtics visited the Milwaukee Bucks. Not only did Andrew Bogut embarrass Glen “Big Baby” Davis (as you are about to witness below), but the Bucks also had the last laugh in winning the game 86-84.

Big win for the Bucks. And a big poster for Bogut.

Who will be the stars that emerge from this year's NCAA Tournament?

Ahhh – it’s that time of year. I know you might have put down the remote after the Super Bowl…but it’s time to pick it back up.

The 2010 NCAA Tournament will kick off on Thursday March 18, so get ready for the only sporting event that can truly justify a 4-day weekend.

And what would March Madness be without taking your stab at the outcome? That’s right – join Ball or Nuthin’s bracket group and let’s see how you fare against some other die hard college basketball fans. And while we all know that Roy’s boys (pictured above) won’t raising the trophy, this year’s tourney should be one of the most competitive ever – and will yield a variety of projected winners and losers in each round.

Entry into our pool is free. That is, if you disregard all the smack talkin’ that’s gonna happen when T Lamont ends up on top…

More details regarding entry information will be provided as we approach game day.

Join in the fun by clicking here – - and let’s see if you have what it takes to win it all!!

Big Ben needs to use better judgement off the gridiron.

If you watch a Pittsburgh Steelers game, you know the style of play exhibited by two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

He’s very unconventional, and routinely draws out each passing play as long as possible before gaining positive yardage either by scrambling with his feet or connecting with one of his receiving targets. But if you rewind some of those plays (thanks to the technological advancement of TiVo anyone can be a telestrator analyst), you will see that Big Ben probably missed several opportunities to complete a pass.

Steelers fans realize that it’s his inability to read the defense that causes stressful moments each time he takes a snap.

That same inability is also plaguing his social life.

Now facing his second set of sexual harassment charges in two years, Roethlisberger is now going to be a target. So, now would be a good time for him to realize how an NFL superstar should carry himself.

As cliche’ as it is for the media to bash the ‘thug culture’ in professional sports (particularly football), we cannot disregard Roethlisberger’s issues. Some of the more polarizing figures in football – guys like Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco – have gotten a bad rap for “damaging the integrity of the game” when they’re simply having fun.

We believe you, Ben. We know you can drink like a champion.

But, if that’s the case, is what Roethlisberger doing “damaging the integrity of our society?”

Back in 2009, we were introduced to Andrea McNulty, the alleged victim of sexual assault by Big Ben in August 2008. McNulty had us wondering whether we should believe her, and her co-worker didn’t do her any favors. Angela Antonelli testified that McNulty’s allegations were false, based on the fact that she claimed McNulty’s bragged about having consensual sex with the former Miami-Ohio star. The general public was left to sort out the fact on its own, and to form its own opinion.

Here we are, less than a year later, visiting similar allegations from a different woman. This time, the 28-year-old Roethlisberger appears to have gotten caught up drinking and hanging out with college kids at a popular nightclub. Ben’s accuser has stated that the whole incident occurred inside the women’s bathroom of that club. That’s just plain poor judgement.

Despite his postseason superhero status, Roethlisberger’s kryptonite may have been discovered. And if he doesn’t learn to read defenses quickly, his super powers may eventually be taken away.

Derek Anderson Blasts Browns Fans

Upon his release from the Browns, Derek Anderson had some choice words for the Cleveland fans.

Derek Anderson was released by the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday. Anyone who has seen him play since his 2007 Pro Bowl season would easily understand why.

Last season Anderson completed only 45 percent of his pass attempts, threw only 3 TDs while tossing 10 INTs, and has a robust 42.1 QB rating.

Yet, despite all of those bottom-feeder stats, he found a reason to be mad at the Browns’ faithful. In an email to the News-Herald, Anderson wrote:

“The fans are ruthless and don’t deserve a winner. I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. I know at times I wasn’t great. I hope and pray I’m playing when my team comes to town and (we) roll them.”

First off, D.A.’s statement is kind of like an admission that he stinks – or that at least he’s not a winner. By saying that they “don’t deserve a winner” after he was released, Anderson can seem to feel that his performance justified the Browns’ actions.

And speaking of prayer, Anderson will need it. The truth is that if he can’t play for the Browns – not exactly one of the best teams in the league - how in the world does he think he’s going to be playing (on the field) for another team?

And don’t be mad at the fans. It’s a fact of life that fans will express their discontent. You stink. They boo.

A word of advice for Anderson – if you land on another team, try not to stink.

Kobe Bryant is addicted to taking every crucial shot for the Lakers.

Big game on national television against the Miami Heat. Kobe Bryant takes over late in regulation and overtime. Lakers lose.

Big game on national television against the Orlando Magic. Kobe Bryant takes over late in regulation and overtime. Lakers lose.

The worst aspect of these two losses is that Kobe’s teammates have been turned into spectators. And these are no ordinary teammates. 3-time All-Star Pau Gasol. Former All-Star Ron Artest. All-Star talent Lamar Odom. Up and coming center, 7-foot Andrew Bynum. Veteran leader Derek Fisher.

Bryant's recent success has had a lot to do with his twin towers, Gasol and Bynum.

All of these players of at least borderline All-Star talent, are relegated to watching the guy who’s arguably the best player in the NBA try to be the hero in every close ball game. Bryant is without question the most accomplished closer currently on an NBA roster. But what’s with his desire to show it every time the Lakers are in a close game.

In the Miami and Orlando games, Bryant had a vice grip on the rock. And when the Heat and Magic defenders began to double him in an effort to get the ball out of his hands, his teammates were either unable to handle his passes or unable to convert based on poor positioning. The bottom line is that they weren’t incorporated into the flow of the game at its most critical point – ‘crunch-time’.

Compared to other teams, the Lakers top 5 players are much more well-rounded that that of other teams. And, not long ago, Kobe’s running mates proved just how good they are. While Kobe Bryant was out of the lineup from February 6 – February 22, L.A. sported a 4-1 record including comfortable wins against San Antonio, at Portland and at Utah. Their only blemish during that stretch was a one-point loss to the Boston Celtics.

Even with a team that has proven itself at the highest level – winning the NBA championship last season – Kobe just can’t disable his controlling nature. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Most would credit this to Bryant’s competitive nature.

But I see it simply as Kobe still being Kobe.
