Arenas Stashes Guns in His Locker

Leave it to one of the NBA’s quirkiest personalities to produce a headline like this.

Three time All-Star, Washington Wizard Gilbert Arenas kept guns in his Verizon Center locker.  According to the Wizards organization, there was no ammunition in the locker. 

Arenas said that he transported the firearms to the Wizards home arena after his daughter was born earlier this month.  He later gave them to the team to provide them to the police.

Gilbert Arenas:

“I wouldn’t have brought them to D.C. had I known the rules.  After my daughter was born, I was just like, ‘I don’t need these anymore.”

OK, Gilbert.  He doesn’t need these anymore…so let him just take them to his work office and leave them on the premises there.  That’s just plain weird and crazy.  I can only imagine what would have  happened to me if I would have brought real firearms to my job.

This sounds like a good enough reason for Agent Zero to unretire from blogging.  After all, I’m almost positive there’s a method to his madness that would have us at the edge of our collective seats.
